Everybody is so busy trying to tow the line, to do what society tells them is right... to be all that they can be... career, job, family, dog. Isn’t it about time to encourage people to go their own way? To walk the path less traveled? To leave their jobs and responsibilities thousands of miles away and overstay their intentions some place relaxing and nice? To be the bum they always wanted to be – at least for two weeks? We think it is. 

Many of the greatest philosophers, artists, and thinkers were given the great luxury of not having to worry about making a living. Given the time to relax, live, sleep and consume significant quantities of exquisite food and drink, they found ways to give us the basis for modern civilization. 

 

We should be encouraging people to live life to it’s fullest…to stay an extra day, miss the plane back, get lost in the jungle, buy an extra necklace, two tunics and a belt.
